My Profile

My name is Jim Rich. I have been involved in racing since I was ten days old. I have raced Street Drags with my '68 Camaro, Quarter Mile with my '73 Ford F100, American Race Truck Series with a '98 Ford F150, Best In The Desert 8100 Class with my '73 Ford F100 (yes the same one)and APBA/SCSC with my '77 Sanger Custom Sprint sporting a little Redneck 429. I am running the 2009 Season with the APBA/SCSC in Region 10, 11 & 12. I am racing Competition Jet as well as Nostalgia Endurance. I had a very successful 2008 Racing Season, I placed 3rd in Comp Jet during it's probationary season as well as placing 2nd in the Nostalgia Jet Class for the 3rd year in a row. I was only able to race a partial season and maintained the points lead until the last race of the season in September. The 2009 racing season is going to be more exciting than previous years due to the rebirth of Competition Jet Boat Racing. Code Blue Racing plans to again compete for the Competition Jet Title.

I want to thank all my 2008 sponsors, supporters and my entire crew. Without their help we would not have been able to make any of the races.

As far as my crew, you guys all know the long, last minute, crazy hours it takes sometimes to get to a race. I know you guys want to kill me sometimes before a race. I am tough on our parts and engines, but because of you guys we make every round.

Terry and Roger for taking the reigns of the newly invented class.

Now I can't forget the other guys that we race with. I would not be racing in CJ class if it were not for them.
